“Sounds like Zuma Math.”
@YoungKxnggg analysed:
“That's like 227 people a day from each province, and each province has how many hoods?”
@popular_lonxr argued:
“If this is true, then it is truly concerning, given the total prison capacity of less than 200K heads, that figure projected goes to around 750K per year, even if the projection is far from accurate and not everyone gets jailed, the numbers are still high. Prisons are overwhelmed.”

@JusticeSA10 said:
“It is possible. How many police stations do we have in SA? With how many police?”
@Motlase1989952 explained:
“Very possible, but now it exposes the fact that they have not been working. If you ask them why they last did they have such stats, they would date back to the 80s.”
@TshegoWatsona said:
“I’ve been saying. SAPS cannot fix this alone, and with its current funding. Crime needs to be declared a national crisis. We need SANDF on the ground. We are dealing with lawlessness that the constitution never imagined.”
