Simphiwe Dana has moved on from her drama with Nomzamo Mbatha to focus on her career, and she hinted at making some serious moves with a renowned record label.

Singer Simphiwe Dana hinted at possibly levelling up in her career after a "successful meeting" with her former record label.
The Ndiredi singer shared a Twitter (X) post on 29 July 2025 after meeting with representatives from the Gallo Record Company, and posed outside a building following the meeting:

The singer signed with Gallo before the release of her award-winning debut album Zandilise in 2004. Though it's unknown when or why she parted ways with the label, her cheerfulness at the meeting after once "being wronged" hinted at a possible revival of their partnership
However, her mood was entirely different just days before the meeting.

Dana demanded to be credited for inspiring the singer's hairstyles, causing a social media storm.
