Popular producer and club DJ Prince Kaybee stirred emotions after giving Mzansi unsolicited advice on when people should have children. Known for sharing fitness and lifestyle advice, the Fetch Your Life producer rubbed people the wrong way when he gave parenting advice.

Taking to his verified X account on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, Prince Kaybee suggested that people should have children young. The muso, who shares a son with Zola Mhlongo, argued that having children later in life will turn out to be unfair to them in the long term. The post was captioned:

“Have kids young, putting your teenage kids through emotional stress because you are old, sick and about to die is not nice!!!”

Prince Kaybee defends his advice on when people should have kids

His sentiments ruffled feathers, and he had to hop into the comments section to clarify his initial post. When social media user @Mogotsakgotla asked:

“Re support teenage pregnancy jaanong Kabelo? Kids need one to be financially and emotionally ready to raise them!”

Prince Kaybee clapped back and clarified that he wasn’t advocating for teenage pregnancies.

“Did I say I support teenage pregnancy?” he asked.

Another social media user, @Bonginko01, suggested that some people have children late in life because it is God’s will for their lives. The post was captioned:

“As long as you are aware that you don't make choices on everything. Some people, God will bless them with kids when they are about to die. It's his sovereign choice.”
