Somizi Mhlongo adds Naledi Aphiwe to concert lineup

Somizi Mhlongo is gearing up for his anticipated Shades of Pink concert and is bringing the heat with this year's performance lineup.

The media personality has secured bookings for DJ Zinhle, Makhadzi, and Zee Nxumalo, but it was Naledi Aphiwe's addition that had everybody talking.

The young Afro-pop singer has become one of the most loved stars in South Africa. Since gaining recognition for her collaboration with Chris Brown, Aphiwe's star has been on the rise ever since.

After weeks of pleading with SomGAGA to include Aphiwe in the event lineup, he finally took to his Instagram page and made the announcement everybody was waiting for:

"Nazo!!!!! You requested, I delivered. @naledi_aphiwe_ in the heeeeeezy."

Affectionately known as Cocomelon, Naledi Aphiwe will take to the stage alongside several other entertainers on 30 August 2025 at the Shades of Pink concert. Fans can't wait to watch her perform some of her hits live.

Ahead of the much-anticipated Scorpion Kings Live with Friends concert, the duo is offering internship opportunities to South African youth through Betway and the Betway Cares Foundation.

Dubbed the 100 Lives Initiative, the opportunity seeks to employ young people to gain hands-on experience working with the team. Interns will benefit from skills development to be better equipped for their future careers in events and entertainment.
