Amapiano music sensation MaWhoo, whose real name is Thandeka Nontobeko Ngema, recently went viral on social media after sharing a photo of her bare face. Ngema looked different without her filters and makeup on.

The popular singer previously topped social media trends for her outfit at the Durban July.

MaWhoo also made headlines when she performed her hit song Izono at Kelvin Momo's One Man Show.

Entertainment channel MDN News shared a photo on X of the singer's bare face on Sunday, 3 August, with the caption:
