The Scorpion Kings, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, have officially announced the name of the mysterious surprise African act performing at Scorpion Kings Live with Friends.

Having released the lineup on 15 August 2025, it has been confirmed that Nigerian star Davido will be headlining the anticipated concert.

With a friendship that spans years, DJ Maphorisa and Davido have collaborated on several hit tracks, including their song Belinda, released in 2015 with late rapper AKA and Angolan musician C4Pedro.

They recently reconnected on Davido's latest album, 5ive, for a song titled Be There Still, where Porry is listed as one of the producers.

Davido previously remixed the viral Biri Marung, and with a track record such as his, not to mention great relationships with some of the country's biggest names, his performance surely is not one to miss.

Also on the lineup are Cassper Nyovest, Sjava, 25K and Blxckie. The legendary Caiphus Semenya, whose hit song Matswele was remixed by the Scorpion Kings in 2024, will receive an honorary moment at the show on 29 August at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Tickets are available at select Pick 'n Pay outlets as well as on Web Tickets, priced between R300 and R1000.
