Ntando Duma dispelled the rumours that she had a surrogate carry her new baby.

The actress recently welcomed a child with her husband, Una Rams, after keeping her pregnancy on the hush-hush.

While many fans congratulated the newlyweds on their growing family, others speculated that Ntando had had someone else carry her child, as she was not visibly pregnant.

Responding to the allegations during her interview with L-Tido on 20 August 2025, Duma hinted that her baby was entirely hers:

"Because you didn't see me pregnant then it's not my child? Like, what do you mean?"

The actress's pregnancy was one of South African entertainment's best-kept secrets, followed by a private baby shower. However, this was not the first time Ntando hid her personal life from her fans.

The Shaka iLembe actress caused a social media storm when she came out as a wife after secretly marrying Una Rams in 2024, whom she also kept a mystery.

While rumours of their love circulated on social media, they only ever confirmed their relationship at their wedding, a move that was widely admired by social media.
