Nota alleged that Sizwe Dhlomo partly owns Kaya FM.

“So basically, now we've got two homies. Anele on one side, right. Sizwe Dhlomo and others. I don't know, but I think there's some big media company that Sizwe Dhlomo is a part of that now controls Kaya FM,” Nota Baloyi claimed.

The outspoken podcaster, who once landed in trouble with the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) over his comments, claimed to have played a role in Sol Phenduka securing the Kaya FM job. Nota alleged that he asked Sizwe Dhlomo to give Sol the Kaya FM job to stop someone from destroying Podcast and Chill. Baloyi said:

“So, I’m like, ‘Yoh, your home’s company is trying to take Sol and kill ‘Podcast and Chill’. Please take him and take that off the table’ and that was done.”
