Sizwe Dhlomo Mocks Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie Over Hypocritical Statement on Humiliation

• South African radio presenter Sizwe Dhlomo has once again slammed Minister Gayton McKenzie
• The Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture has come under fire for his old X posts, which have since been deemed racist
• In his latest post, Sizwe called him out for his hypocrisy, after previously calling him an idiot

Kaya 959 radio presenter, Sizwe Dhlomo, has once again mocked the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie.

Sizwe Dhlomo is not letting Gayton McKenzie off the hook just yet. The minister has been under Dhlomo's radar after the racist X (Twitter) posts went viral on social media.

The Minister was reacting to the decisions made by the SA Human Rights Commission regarding his previous X posts. He labelled the findings defamatory and reckons that politics are at play.

"Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie has rejected the SA Human Rights Commission’s finding of prima facie hate speech against him, over historical social media posts. He says the decision is defamatory and politically motivated," the SABC wrote on their caption.

Sizwe Dhlomo gave a sarcastic response to the video, pointing out the irony in Gayton's words. Briefly News previously reported that Gayton came under fire after old posts in which he spoke negatively about black people resurfaced. In most Tweets, he used the K-word and spoke about Black people degradingly.

Many people found this hurtful, especially with how he reacted after the Open Chats Podcast saga. Dhlomo, in his reaction post on Wednesday, 21 August 2025, laughed and questioned Gayton's sudden understanding of humiliation and human dignity.

"Oh, so he does understand the idea of humiliation & impugning a person’s dignity? Lol!"

Sizwe calls Gayton an 'idiot'

This is just one of the many times that Sizwe has targeted Gayton and called him out. Following his interview on The Konvo Show with Penuel Mlotshwa shortly after the drama unfolded, Sizwe called him an idiot. In the episode which aired on 13 August 2025, the Minister denounced the idea that coloured people don't want to be seen as black:

"Alot of my black friends ask, 'Why don;t coloured people want to be black?' We wanna be African like you. The smartest black people do not know that coloureds are considered black in this country, and you are considered African. A coloured person cannot become African in SA," he remarked.

"The law stated, 'Most opportunities should go to black people, particularly Africans.' That is why coloured people do not get hired, their CVs go nowhere, they do not get funding from NSFAS, only a small majority. It is Armageddon in our community," he continued.
