Bathong, there is never a day without drama on social media when it comes to Mzansi's musicians and producers. Recently, Dy Jaivane made some damning claims about Young Stunna that left many netizens stunned.
On Wednesday, 5 August 2025, the Simnandi Records owner revealed during his interview on Piano Pulse that the young Amapiano vocalist owed him credits and royalties for his hit song, Adiwele.
The star, who was recently called out by Smaki 08 in July 2025, further explained how the hit song was recorded under his label when Young Stunna was still signed under him, although the song was released under Kabza De Small's record label.
Jaivane also mentioned that if he were not the kind of person he is now, he'd be doing what the vocalist is doing on social media and involving lawyers; he would've done that, but he prefers peace over havoc that will disturb his career.

"If I wanted to, I would have done the things he does on social media and said to Kabza this, Stunna this… and involved lawyers, but I’m not that person to run to lawyers," he said.
The star posted a short clip of his interview on social media and captioned it:
"Today we’re setting the record straight with Djy Jaivane 📍 and we got a young live performance by De Rose."

Jaivane pays producers in a cheeky way
Previously, n an X post by @PianoConnect, Jaivane recorded a video after their meeting, informing the public that he has paid the gentlemen. However, his attitude towards the gentlemen did not sit right with many people.
"It looks like Djy Jaivane paid Record L Jones and Slenda Vocals. But he’s making fun of them," the blog page wrote.
In the video, he laughed at them after revealing that the payment had been settled. The men, visibly annoyed, did not utter a word. In a statement he released prior to the meeting, Jaivane assured the DJs that they would be properly credited.
"While the distributor informed us that the album release cannot be halted at this stage, they have committed to updating the credits in the days following the release to ensure Smaki 08 is rightfully acknowledged for the songs he worked on."
