Beloved Springbok captain Siya Kolisi seemed to have forgotten he was a celebrity. He was spotted chilling at an interschool event by himself, no bodyguards in sight. However, a few people online thought the champ looked lonely.

A school learner and TikTok user uploaded a clip on his account on 3 August, 2025 showing the Rugby World Cup-winning athlete in Beaufort West, Western Cape. He casually sat alone on the ground as he watched pupils participate in a rugby match, glancing at his phone in between.

Over the weekend, Siya posted a series of videos of his time in the province's largest town in the Great Karoo region, even showing an excited rugby mom screaming from the sidelines.

@andile.skei told the online community:

"The problem is that we are used to being given an attitude by celebrities to an extent that it doesn't feel normal to witness humility. Yes, he is a two-time world champion, unlike these ones with two hit singles and a dance challenge that give us attitude."
