Who is Julia Stuart?

Julia Stuart is a former print journalist who transitioned into sportscasting. She holds a BA in Film and Media Production, as well as an Honours degree in Media Theory and Practice, both from the University of Cape Town.

Her journalism career began at Independent Newspapers, where she covered rugby, cricket, and football. She continued reporting across multiple sporting codes at eNCA (eNews Channel Africa) before joining SuperSport’s 24-hour sports news channel, SuperSport Blitz.

Stuart joined SuperSport in 2015 and currently serves as a studio anchor and pitch-side reporter for various football properties, including the DStv Premiership, domestic cup competitions, and Premier League TV internationally.

She has anchored coverage of major global tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championships, Olympic Games, Africa Cup of Nations, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and UEFA Europa League.
