The ANC’s Secretary General, Fikile Mbalula, said the party’s election performance was nothing to celebrate, adding that the results sent a clear message.

MK Party President Jacob Zuma has cautioned the IEC against declaring the election results after numerous political parties complained about the elections.

The uMkhonto we Sizwe Party has accused the IEC of vote rigging and has called for a recount of ballots from Mpumalanga, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.

The IEC has failed to convince South Africans that its election data was not compromised when the results display screens malfunctioned countrywide.
